I have hundreds of CDs that have fallen by the wayside over the years. I am also able to see what I have been listening to, and what I have not. It also allows me to hand off the music to a different device when I need to switch rooms (something I do often). Roon feeds my BluOS devices and allows me to play music in multiple zones at once (something I do occasionally). (Some MQA releases sound quite good, others are a clear miss, but that's a different topic.) ![]() With Tidal support I am able to browse and sample music I don't yet own, or compare my version(s) to the MQA release. I can also easily compare different versions of albums or songs. Roon allows me to easily search and browse my music by artist, album, year, genre, etc., something that was not possible before. Now the CD is on my NAS and available to my Roon and Plex server. ![]() It takes me less than 5 minutes (unattended) to rip a CD with DBpoweramp.
